So I'm not sure why I can't keep up with Blogger. It's not like it's hard or anything. I suppose I get stuff posted on Myspace & Facebook and call it good. Hmm.
So what's up with us? Well, we are moving to Ft. Riley, Kansas in about a week. I had some serious issues with it at first, but I'm actually excited. I have been living in limbo bored out of my mind, and I'm ready to get settled and continue.
I am planning on going back to school, to finally get certified for Phlebotomy and get a J-O-B. Honestly, I'm scared. I have not worked in 3 years. Just the whole idea of an interview process and getting established is mind boggling. I know it is going to be HELL on my body also. After living in pajamas for 3 years it might just kill me! Ha! Other plans after getting settled, start my photography business back up! I'm so excited! I'm really going to get into it this time with advertising and networking. I will soon have a home studio for those who don't prefer outdoor shoots. Although I prefer those!
So the girls are good. Emilee has a bit of a tummy bug. Zianne is actually excited about moving. She said that she's sad to leave her friends. Eh, she's social, she will make more! She's going to have to get settled in Girl Scouts again, she just started like a month ago! Sheesh! And another new school for a few months. I am looking forward to this summer though. I plan to make many trips to the pool and to the creek while visiting family! And hey! Maybe I will actually post some photos on here!
So here are some random photos that I have taken in the last few months. Enjoy.

Couldn't resist
The beautiful light coming through my kitchen window. I was cooking lunch for myself and the monkey, reading Eclipse in between. I stepped away from the book for a moment and came back. It was so pretty! Had to run and get the camera. I did a little editing to it and it came out great! Hope you like it!

Who knew?
I bought a Pumpkin Pie for Thanksgiving. The frozen kind. Because frankly, it's easier.
Anyway, it was calling my name last night and I just had to bake it. I didn't tell the girls so they wouldn't be up my butt for the next hour or so.
Emilee, aka "The Nose" notices the sweet aroma of Pumpkin Pie baking.
Emilee: "Mommy, what's that smell?"
Me: "I don't know what you're talking about."
Emilee: "That yummy smell."
Zianne: "Yeah, I smell something good too, like Oatmeal."
I decided to be the nice little mommy (we were hoping they would fall asleep BEFORE it was done).
Me: "It's Pumpkin Pie."
Emilee: "Hey mommy! When it's done, can I see it's BUTT?"
What the hell? Hahahaha. Who knew Pumpkin Pie had a BUTT?
So it's done and we are eating in the kitchen. The girls are sitting in the chairs at the counter.
I said, "Hey Emilee, where's the butt?" She's curiously looking at her plate and says, "It's under there!" She was pointing to the crust. Hahaha. She cracks me up.
And onto the other kiddo. Comes home from school last week and says, "Talk to the booty cus' the hands off duty!" Oh my. Then she told me not to get all up in her business. What business does a 6 (very soon to be 7) year old have???

My other two kids
So I don't think I've posted about my other two kids.
This is Roxie, she turned 2 this past September. I adopted Roxie from a couple off of Craigslist when William was deployed. He thought I was crazy for getting a dog while he was gone and I was home with 2 kids. But I wanted the companionship that a doggy brings. The unconditional love and doggy kisses. Anyway, Roxie is part Greyhound and part Jack Russell Terrier (yeah, I know what you are thinking, how did THAT happen?). We like to call her our Dingo. Then there is our newest kid, HeyDuke. We just adopted HeyDuke a few days ago from another couple on Craigslist. I grew up with Basset Hounds and have wanted one for 3 years. While we were in Hawaii I searched and searched for one but had no luck. HeyDuke just turned a year old and he's such a big boy! I say big because Roxie the little waif only weighs about 35lbs compared to Duke's 65. He loves to play but doesn't know his own strength; he's already knocked Emilee down a few times.
Here are some other random photos of them. They have a love/hate relationship.
And yet some more random shots of last night. Zi had a sleepover with a friend, so Emilee and I had some fun. She came down with a cold, which explains her vagabond look.

I'm Back!!
I'm back! I know it's been since July but so much has happened. We are now in Colorado (currently freezing butt off) and are trying to get settled in. I still have a million boxes to unpack but no motivation. Kind of does that to ya when you don't even have your stuff and you find out you will only be here like 9 months! (insert GRRR here).
Of course I have a ton of pictures; but since I'm feeling lazy, I'm only going to share a few.

Late 4th of July post!
So I got Picasa and started messing around. Kind of nice I can just add the stuff to Blogger. Anyway, that is a collage of our 4th of July. We had a good time. We went up to Sills Field for some fun in the morning. The girls got to go on a few rides. Z took a spin on a twirly ride and I seriously thought she was going to blow chunks half way through! And the mommy part of me was thinking "I have no extra clothes!" All was good though, she didn't puke. Just complained like crazy on the walk home and actually sat down and refused to get up. We ended up going back later that evening with a friend and her "tribe". She's crazy and has 5 kids and a deployed husband. Of course, Em fell asleep on the way there. I swear, every single holiday this girl is asleep when the fun stuff starts! She woke up finally when "Hannah Montana's" dad came on to sing. Not to bad to my surprise! We left halfway through because the girls started getting bored. Sat outside and they played on the playground and bugged us about when the fireworks would start.
You know what happened when they did start???? Uh, yeah. "We want to play on the playground!" OMG I swear!
Anyway, I got some great shots that day~and wanted to share! Enjoy!
